RACE TRACK

Racing generally takes place on a hard surface track (a bit of milling asphalt, mostly crushed gravel, 100m section of a sand/crushed gravel mixture on a firm surface).

The track is a rider in general- and cage-friendly, there should not be much degradation and slippage even in the rain.

The track is about 1 km long.

24H SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THE "KEPSUD BAG".:

  • ALL cages must come to the registration - there will be a technical inspection! Remove the ignition cap on the retro-class pins.
  • The engines are marked before starting.
  • The engine may be replaced or removed from the frame ONLY in coordination with the CHIEF JUDGE! Until an agreement is reached with the head judge, the engine must not be removed. If the Chief Judge is not immediately available, then the organizers record the situation and pass the information on to the chief judge.
  • When replacing the engine, the spare engine must be completely dismantled (the bearings may be in the crankcase housing) and this must be shown to the Chief Judge.
  • Who know, that disassembling and assembling the engine is too much, can use the option to install a new engine as another alternative, but the team cannot 60 return to the track within a minute and cannot participate in the race. 60 minutes starts from the moment, if the information has been communicated to the judge. If the head referee cannot be caught, the time can also be fixed by the organizing team, who forwards the information to the chief judge.
  • Lights required at night (white in front, behind red)! The lights must be on for the test circuit, to explain, whether the lights interfere with reading the circles.
  • NB! Change in the back number: the grid number MUST be on the back of the RACING SHIRT!
  • Be sure to review the rules!
Exception to the calculation of hour points for 24-hour driving !!!
  • If you have driven at least half of the winners' laps, then you will get maximum hour points, perhaps 24 points. As it has always been.
  • If you drive less than half of the winner's laps, then you will not lose class points like in previous years, but points are calculated as percentages.
  • Examples: If you have passed e.g 15% Winner of the rings, then you can 30% of max. hour points, which does 7,2 point perhaps 7 points.
  • When you have passed 30% Winner of the rings, then you can get it 60% maximum of hourly points (24-i.e. from the point), mis on 14,4 point, i.e. rounded 14 points.
  • When you have passed 40% Winner of the rings, then you can get it 80% of max. hour points (24-i.e. from the point), which does 19,2 point, i.e. rounded 19 points. (the percentage is multiplied by two)
  • Let's suppose, that the winner has passed 834 around and you 241 round. Then you've passed 28,9% Winner of the rings. It means, that you get 28.9×2=57.8% of the maximum points, or 24 points, which does 13,9 point, i.e. rounded 14 points.
  • We do all this for this, that if you still struggled during the 24-hour drive, then you will not leave the event without class points, which would be a pretty big point loss.
  • Points are calculated by team after the competition, which may take some time.
  • If anyone has questions about accounting principles, then Rein Pärt will answer them, as 56564798
